Yesterday was a sad day in America. Not only did a Legendary Icon get charged
with sexual assault; we’re experiences some of the most historical torrential
storms around the Country. We’re experiencing
States of Emergencies, homes are being destroyed, excessive losses of life,
including out of control Police Brutality.
Dr. William “Bill” Cosby, Jr., an American stand-up
comedian, actor, and author was charged Wednesday December 30, 2015; with
sexually assaulting a women in 2004. The
Media has played the scene of Dr. Cosby being escorted into a courthouse in
Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, with his cane and Attorney by his side. Yesterday, the world witnessed another
attempt to tarnish a remarkable legacy established by Cosby, 78 years of age,
who should be on his way to enjoying the later years of his life.
My personal observations is we live in a Society that will
go to great lengths to dismantle the accomplishments of any Iconic Melanated
Man. Eddie Griffin said it best in his interview
with VLAD TV. "There is a systematic effort to destroy every Black
male entertainer's image," Eddie told DJ Vlad. "They want all of us
to have an asterisk by our name." Griffin believes, like Michael and Bill;
that most African-American male entertainers are singled out for their illicit
behavior. "Nobody leaves this business clean," he stated while
pointing out the cases of others. "You're not going to die clean."

So my question to the Media is why now? Why provide a platform in the midst of an
onslaught of police brutality against the Melanated Man in America and across
the globe? Where are the Media platforms
to discuss the Police Brutality? The blatant
murders that have been filmed, caught on tape, eye witnesses, and murdered eye
witnesses. What type of Society do we
live in that will demand the attention of the masses to focus on Dr. Bill Cosby
and not the injustices of murder at the hands of the Police who took an oath to
protect and serve?
We have to be mindful of distraction tactics. We have to be aware of the manipulation of
those who pass judgement before the judicial system is able to sort through the
facts. Why
bring charges against Cosby one day before the statute of limitations runs out? It appears that there is something way more sinister
underlining this case. Why did the women
wait so long to come forward? Grown
women who made the decision to interact with a married man? Why do we always sit back and watch the crucifixion
of our Legends? How many more Melanated people
must endure this type of hatred? Am I
the only one who can bear witness to a pattern?
So many of our acclaimed STARS have be persecuted in the Media, they
have been tried and convicted before the actual trial begins. It’s Propaganda at its finest! Think about it! How many people can you testify to; that have
endured this same type of humiliation and embarrassment? I know I can name 10 people off the top of my
head that have suffered or been destroyed by false accusations and a mass Media lynching. (Tupac Shakur, Mike Tyson, Michael Jackson,
Michael Jordan, Martin Luther King, Malcomb X, Kobe Bryant, OJ Simpson, Elijah
Muhammad, Minister Louis Farrakhan, Michael Vick… and the list goes on).
When you realize the game you will see that these incidents
involve much more than meets the eye.
Did Bill Cosby want to establish his own Television Network? Does it matter that his net worth is toppled
in the Multi Millions near a Billion?
Dig a little deeper people and get to the root because when you expose
the root the lie dies. Being Melanated
with Brains, Money, and Favor is a recipe that threatens the very fabric of
